You may have heard the story of the dad who was at his son's little league baseball tryouts. As he looked onto the field, he saw a number of players get cut, players who were considered not good enough to make a team. He saw that those who were cut were enough players to put together a 6th team. So he went over to ask the director of the baseball tryout if he could take the players who were cut (the leftovers) and work to develop a team with them. He was given approval, and so without delay, distraction or concern he took those players and created a 6th team in that little league. The dad turned coach and his team won their last game of the season. Their final game happened to be the little league championship game. They ended the season with a record of 12-0. Winning the championship game by a score of 19-0.
The Apostle Paul, who some call the GOAT of Bible authors, put it this way, "but seek first the kingdom of God and his way of being a doing right and all these things will be added to you. therefore do not be anxious for tomorrow, for tomorrow will be anxious for itself."
-Matt. 6:33-34
